Dr. Workman is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner that uses manual and low-force adjusting techniques, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, FAKTR-PM, physical therapy modalities, stability strengthening and resistive exercises along with his experience in GRASTON TECHNIQUE which allows him to detect and treat adhesions and restrictive scar tissue.
What is a Chiropractic Adjustment? (CMT)
A Chiropractic adjustment is a conservative, non invasive therapy, based on the medical cybernetics of STRUCTURE-FUNCTION Inter-relationships. An adjustment returns proper positioning of the bone allowing proper joint movement and function. This is delivered through a non-force adjusting tool (Activator / Arthostim ) or through manual manipulation.
This adjustment of the bone structure, returns the body to its intended positioning and provides relief from pain returning normal posture and movement to the patient which will allow the body to heal.
